Registered Clinical Counsellor
As a therapist, my desire is to support clients on their journey towards embodying their authentic self and living a fulfilling and meaningful life. I recognize that many of us have endured developmental and acute traumas that have left us living disembodied lives, disconnecting us from the wisdom of our bodies and stifling the emotional process necessary for a healthy nervous system. This disconnection, often coupled with insecure attachment patterns, can impede our ability to form meaningful connections, restrict our capacity to appreciate the beauty within life, and erode our sense of responsibility towards our planet.
Drawing on my 15 years of clinical practice, I have come to believe that access to our truest self comes from connecting with our hearts, healing our roots, claiming our personal power, and exploring our spirituality. To support my clients on this journey, I have studied attachment systems, body work, energetics, and the therapeutic use of psychedelic medicines. One therapeutic model that resonates deeply with me is Internal Family Systems, which I use extensively in my practice.
Alongside my clinical work, I have supervised master's level students in their practicums and delivered guest lectures at multiple universities and high schools. I am deeply committed to my own personal growth and development and I continuously seek new ways to expand my understanding of human nature and the human experience.
In addition to being a healer and mystic, I am also a mother and nature lover. I savour spending time with my family and exploring the beauty of the natural world. When I'm not in my office, you might find me barefoot on a beach, trekking in the forest with my dog, or creating artful floral arrangements with my kids. I believe that connecting with ourselves, others, and the world around us are fundamental to living a meaningful life, and I am passionate about helping my clients cultivate those connections in their own lives.
